Ma Hup Seng Engineering has moved a number of times as their business has grown. In 2005 the latest factory was build on 5 acres of land. The initial fabrication workshop is capable of accommodating and fabricating 2,500 tonnes of steel per year.
Ma Hup Seng Engineering factory is located 46 kilometers from the city center of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in Ijok. Pork Klang is 41 kilometres away and the International airport KLIA is 60 kilometres away.
Currently the factory manufacturing plants consists of 5,000 sq meters of covered work area with the various machine for plate rolling, welding, fit-up and NDT process installed on site and a further 6,200 sq. meters of open storage yard. Inside there is a two level office building with 400 sq. meters of office space. In 2016, work has begun to double the size of the covered work area to 10,000 sq meters and build a new office block which will be completed by the end of 2017.
Currently the factory facilities are well equipped with machinery including;
- 1 units of 10 tons capacity of overhead crane
- 3 units of 5 tons capacity overhead crane
- unit of 16 ton and 20 ton capacity mobile crane
- Hydraulic rolling machine - 200 tons
- Hydraulic bending machine for 12mm steel plate thickness x 6 ft width
- Steel plate cutting machine for 12 mm steel plate thickness
- All other equipments for welding and fabrication works
